Let's Welcome Ryan - Our Junior Project Manager
Absolute is thrilled to welcome Ryan Powell as Junior Project Manager, a role that will support our senior Project Management team in a time of exciting growth.
With over 7 years experience as a Project Estimator, Ryan’s dedication and enthusiasm for the role is what made him stand out from the crowd and we are more than happy to have him on board.
Ryan previous roles included day-to-day tendering projects up to £1m, liaising with clients to confirm specifications and managing projects through to completion for multiple industries, completing projects for hotel chains such as Hilton, Marriott and Holiday Inn.
Working with big names such as Starbucks, Lush and Bovis Homes, these large scale project estimating jobs has given him a wide range of experience in the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors of internal design.
Ryan has a range of hobbies (mostly sports) which he enjoys performing outside of the workplace.
We sat down with Ryan to find out more about him and his motivation to join Absolute.
What made you join Absolute?
The culture, projects and overall feel of the company excited me beyond belief and joining was an opportunity I jumped at with no hesitation.
What excites you about your new role?
There are a lot of things that excite me about my new role, particularly the way Absolute transform spaces to create different cultures within businesses but also the opportunity to be a part of the process to reach that end result.
What are your short term goals and long term goals here at Absolute?
Short term goals are mainly to integrate myself within the excellent culture of Absolute and become a part of the amazing, reliable team which is essentially the core of the business. Long term goals include becoming the best PM that I can be and progressing through the ranks as I grow with the company on its very positive journey.
What’s your favourite place to visit?
Amsterdam, London and Croatia for various reasons but mainly due to the beautiful scenery.
