Introducing Our New Head of Marketing - Jordan Thompson
Absolute is pleased to introduce Jordan Thompson. Jordan will join our Marketing team to help deliver targeted and relevant marketing to our clients and implement a new strategy for Absolute in 2023.
Studying Film & TV production at Northumberland University, Jordan went on to work as a Marketing Executive in Monaco working in the Luxury Superyacht sector. and then made the leap into creating his own Media Production company in the south of France.
We took some time to catch up and get to know more about Jordan:
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Since moving back I have recently started Beekeeping, random I know, but I have always wanted to give it a try. I also really enjoy photography, traveling, and spicy food.
What made you want to join Absolute?
Well, who wouldn’t want to work here? They make their living creating spaces where people want to go to work. The company culture is progressive and caring, working in a modern-minded business is a pleasure.
It is a fantastic opportunity to showcase what I have learned while abroad and boost Absolute’s marketing performance. I also wanted to broaden my knowledge so chose to enter a different industry that would challenge me.
What excites you most about your new role?
The challenge that comes with taking on any new role! I was fortunate enough to be sent on a team trip to Manchester, where we met with Atul from Sheila Bird Studios and also Darren from Material Source. It was a day of Inspiration and made me realise how much potential Absolute can tap into.
What are your goals for your time here at Absolute?
Short term I want to get to know the team, see behind the scenes as to what has been the procedure, and start building my connections.
Long term I want to update our marketing strategy and monitor our ROI to make sure we are as efficient as possible
