Introducing Shaun - Our New Project Manager

Absolute is delighted to welcome Shaun as our newest Project Manager, an exciting role focusing on projects in the Newcastle area. Shaun will bring his expertise to help enable the growth of Absolute in the North East.

Shaun has worked in the fit-out industry almost 18 years, the last 7 being in the UAE. As a joiner by trade, Shaun brings a unique element to his Project Manager role, being able to apply his technical skill set to any project to identify any potential issues and / or client concerns that may arise.

Shaun has worked on a wide range of projects within the commercial, retail and hospitality sector for international clients including Pfizer, Cigna, GSK and Snapchat.

He also has a proven UK track record of delivering and managing projects for leading UK clients including but not limited to: Zara, Saks Hairdressing and Austin Reed.

We asked Shaun a little more about himself and his motivation to join Absolute.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Watching live music and going on family holidays.

What made you join Absolute?

After relocating back to the UK from the Middle East and having worked in the commercial fit-out industry in excess of 18 years, the simple answer is everything. Absolute's passion and reputation of delivering high-class projects, culture and mantra of not "following the crowd", is inspiring. I did not hesitate to join a team of such experienced designers and fit-out experts.

What excites you about your new role?

Being part of a unique team to deliver exciting and new projects in the UK.

What are your short term goals and long term goals here at Absolute?

Short term, my goal is to integrate myself within the team at Absolute, familiarise myself with Absolute's procedures and build connections.

Long term, is to build a team in the North East to drive and maintain Absolute's vision by delivering successful projects that reflect Absolute's high and unique standards

Do you have a life motto/motivational mantra that you live by?

To live but to never have any regrets.
