One Year at Absolute: Celebrating Our Design Team
We are celebrating the 1-year work anniversary of two valued members of the Absolute team: Hannah McVittie and Lucy Mallard.
Hannah
Hannah joined Absolute with a versatile range of technical and creative design skills. With a deep interest in the psychology of how people work and what enables people to work their best, Hannah has been designing environments which respond directly to that.
Hannah’s work always considers how, as a designer, she can provide the best space to work in, and this is reflected in the multitude of projects she has been a part of.Over her year with us so far, Hannah has worked on many of our projects, but her favourite was the exciting designs she did for Zuru Toys.
Alongside her designing, Hannah is always a delightful and hardworking presence in the office and has been a valued attendee at both our work and social events; joining the team as they adventured to Clerkenwell Design Week and Design Social North in Manchester.
Lucy joined the company with a plethora of specialist knowledge. Her qualifications in RICS and SKA meant that the environment, wellbeing and inclusivity is always at the heart of her designs.
With these skills, Lucy has work closely with many of our clients and the Absolute team to design and deliver great work. Crucially, Lucy has been able to apply herself to such a varied range of projects from office design to medical practice settings.
Over her time here, Lucy’s dedication and initiative has brought rapid development and promotion, seeing her rise from Designer, to Lead Designer and is now our Design Director.
Always bringing laughter and a smile to the office, Lucy is a much loved member of the team, with people at the heart of everything she does- and this is reflected in her work.
We are so grateful for all the hard work, ideas, inspiration and laughter that both Hannah and Lucy have brought to Absolute over the past year. We hope this year marks the first of many and we can't wait to see what you've got up your sleeves for our upcoming projects, and events.
