Absolute Tackle 40 Miles of North Yorkshire Countryside

On Friday 12th May 2017, the Absolute team gathered with their road bikes to tackle 40 miles of North Yorkshire countryside in the Carter Jonas LandAid Pedalthon

The team were up bright and early for the 8am meet at Theakston Brewery in Masham. There was a subtle chill in the air as the team approached the starting line, underneath a sky that was populated with with grey cloud.

Hayden brought his vintage Peugeot road bike out of retirement to tackle the roads of Masham and Ripon:

Absolute were joined by Andy Carroll from Carroll Electrical who, as a keen cyclist, was eager to get involved with the event that was raising money to help protect young people on the streets, provide accommodation and training and tackle the root causes of homelessness.

A picture speaks a thousand words...

The whole team had a fantastic time taking part in the Carter Jonas LandAid Pedalthon 2017 and we'll certainly be back next year to take part again.

Thank you to everyone at Carter Jonas for creating and hosting such an incredibly well organised event and to all the companies who got involved to support the fantastic charity that is LandAid.

We look forward to seeing you all there again next year, and who knows, maybe this time it'll be 80 miles!?
